Sharing

Export a setup, publish it, apply it elsewhere

preflight share --out setup.share.json # export a payload locally
preflight apply setup.share.json --dry-run # preview as a diff
preflight apply setup.share.json
preflight share --expires 2027-01-01T00:00:00.000Z
preflight apply https://YOUR_BACKEND/s/abc234 --dry-run # by link or code
preflight revoke abc234

share also takes --id <id> to share one resource, --loadout <name> to share a resolved loadout, --scope global|project and --public.

The payload schema rejects credentials: recognisable secret patterns, secret keys, authorization headers and credential-bearing URLs. ${VARIABLE} references are accepted, and the landing page names the variables a recipient must set. Inspect a payload before you publish it.

Hosted service

The Preflight API at https://api.preflight.arhun.fr (a Cloudflare Worker with D1, KV and R2) serves the codes: 16 random characters, with older six-character codes still accepted. Sign in with preflight auth login to publish; the signed-in account owns each share.

preflight share # publish, owned by you
preflight share --team ORGANIZATION_ID # also list it for that team
preflight team shares ORGANIZATION_ID # shares published to a team
preflight revoke CODE

Every share link is readable by anyone who has it. unlisted means the code is not listed anywhere; public marks it as meant for wide sharing. --team adds the share to the team's list for its members; it does not restrict who can open the link.

The owner can revoke a share, and so can an admin of its team. Shares with --expires stop opening at that time and are purged every hour. Set PREFLIGHT_API_URL to use another deployment. Setup and limits: Cloudflare backend and accounts.
